COMPETENCES: Supervising Oi engineers and technicians as well as outsource companies in the following areas: infrastructure, implementation, operation, maintenance, geo-referenced acceptance and recording/AUTOCAD for optical and metallic, terrestrial, air, OPGW (cable grounding at CHESF tower) and submarine networks.

IMPLEMENTATION: Supervising infrastructure (manual and mechanical excavation, non-destructive method – NDM), crossing cables through the pipelines (manually, mechanically or by insufflation or compressed air), aerial (cordage and self-sustainable), on roads (grounded /PEAD) and submarine. Implementing milestones and signal tapes; constructing pipelines and underground concrete boxes (urban and on roads). Supervising optical seams (mechanical process and fusion) and metallic cable seams, project updating/ “as built” with points linked by GPS, distributing DG and DGO fibers, terminating optical connectors, physical acceptance and tests (OTDR and POWER METER).

MAINTENANCE: Supervising the retrieval of broken optical and metallic cables (identifying the point through SRO software, mechanical tests, launching new cables, performing seams and final tests); Repositioning of telephone networks through demolition and reconstruction, elevation (winch), abasement of pipeline galleries (excavation and backfill) and underground concrete boxes. Examples: Expressway construction sites at the Inbuí Canal and the SSA/RMS tolls.

SUMMARY OF PERFORMED CONSTRUCTIONS: 5 thousand Km of BACKBONE optical cables (DDD 31 broadband), access network junctions, big clients, base radio stations (mobile). Construction and maintenance (four breaks) of 19Km of submarine optical cables since their infrastructure, launching, grounding in the seashore and sea by conventional drainage and air-lift, performing transition and submarine seams, tests, bathymetry, project/“as laid” geo-referenced by DPGS and final acceptance tests.
